Every project on this list was done by the same people who will show up at your door. Take a look at what we've built right in your backyard.
We built WBR around one idea: make the customer experience easy. Here's what that looks like in real-life:
It sounds like a low bar, but you'd be surprised. When you call WBR, a real person answers. Our sales team is in the office, ready to talk through your project, answer honest questions, and point you in the right direction from the very first conversation.
We give you our best price upfront, and we stick to it. Our written quotes spell out everything included. No vague language, no surprise charges. If the scope changes, we talk about it openly before anything moves forward.
About 90% of our work is done by our own people. The same in-house team you meet on Day 1 will be there at the final walkthrough. Every project gets a dedicated project manager who stays in touch, keeps things moving, and doesn't close the book until the job is done right.
We've made the renovation process as clear as possible so the experience of building your home feels just as good as the end result.
Tell us about your project, your timeline, and what you’re hoping to accomplish. We’ll ask a few straightforward questions to make sure it’s a good fit, then set up a time to see it in person.
We come to your home to take measurements, photos, and get the full picture of the project. We’ll share a bit about who we are, how we work, and give you a clear timeframe for when to expect your quote.
You’ll receive a detailed written quote that spells out the full scope of work, materials, timeline, and a price that won’t change unless the project does. We’ll walk you through it by phone so nothing gets lost in translation.
Once you’re ready to move forward, we review the full contract together, in person or digitally. Everything is laid out clearly so there are no surprises down the road.
You’re introduced to your project manager who will oversee your build. They’ll review the scope, confirm materials and permits, and give you a projected start date.
Your project manager oversees the build from day one, checks in regularly, and doesn’t close things out until every item on your list is handled and you’re happy with the result.
We’re based in Penn Yan and do most of our work in the surrounding area, including the cottages around Keuka Lake, the west side of Seneca Lake, Geneva, and Canandaigua. We’re also happy to travel to Hammondsport, Bath, Watkins Glen, and anywhere within about 45 minutes of our shop. Not sure if you’re in our range? Give us a call and we’ll let you know.
Both. We take on everything from single bathroom remodels (starting around $15,000) to full home renovations and additions. If the project fits our scope and skill set, we’re happy to look at it — whatever the size.
It depends on the scope of the project. A bathroom remodel usually runs 1–4 weeks. A whole-home remodel or addition, can take several months. We’ll give you a realistic timeline upfront and keep you posted throughout the build.
Yes, we share general starting prices on our service pages so you can gauge what’s realistic. For an accurate estimate, we’ll visit your home and prepare a detailed written quote at no charge. No pressure, no obligation.
Yes. For projects that require them, we pull the permits and manage that process on your behalf. One less thing on your plate.
We stand behind our work with a 1-year labor guarantee. Beyond that, we’re a local business — you know where to find us. If something comes up, give us a call, and we’ll work through it with you. We’re not going anywhere.
We've been fortunate to work with some really great people in Penn Yan and the surrounding areas. Here's what they have to say.
Whether you're local or planning from out of state, give us a call or fill out the form. We'll walk you through the next steps and get a visit on the calendar.
